The price is not too bad. I bought one same as yours box and papers about 5 years ago and gave $500 for it. It was a beautiful pistol. traded it for a rifle. Wish I had it back.

I agree - just about any model Colt Series 80 from '85 that's 98% in box w/papers would be a decent buy at $750..

I guess it depends on the true meaning of 98%. If it's my definition of 98% (no scratches and just a slight hint of edge wear) I'd be all over it for that price.
