10mm colt value?

Back in the mid 80's colt made some 10mm's called combat delta's,they are 2-tone and only 400 were made,are they considered collectable.What would one be worth used but in excellent condition.I've seen lots of delta elites but only 2 combat deltas and both weren't in very good condition.Are the older 10mm's worth more than the new ones.I like the looks of the 2-tone pistols.

It seems Colt had a habit of "batching" the 10mm's into special runs and selling them as limited edition type guns. Pictures will certainly help. Original condition, box etc...

From what I have seen- values for these Colt 10mm guns go from $800 up to $1200?

All original except for millet red front sight,original black plastic box.Trigger feels very crisp but a little heavy,been smithed.Shoots 155 xtp's into 3 inch groups at 30 yards with a ported custom barrel.

Anything after the word except kills it for most serious collectors. I am sure what you have is a very nice Colt 10mm shooter with a value of $800 to $1000 maybe, depending greatly on condition and location.

It sounds like only 400 being made doesn't make it worth more so I'll play with it now.I got the longer ported barrel soon after I got it to prevent the possibility of frame cracking.I got wilson springs,full length guide rod and buffers also.My handloads with the 155 xtp's go around 1450 fps with no pressure signs.It shoots 180 and 200's real well also.I had the millet sight put on if I wanted to hunt with it.It is real nice like yours in near perfect condition.Once I got it shooting pretty good I put it away for over 20 years and never used it.The trigger isn't as light as I'd like but with the 24 pound spring I didn't want to risk hammer follow.It shoots good groups anyway.I'm debating getting another 10mm or making the one I got a full custom.Mine has the wide flat grip safety and black trigger.
