    Sounds 'cold' to me..!

Might look nice, but I think it would be a little unfriendly to the Hand compared to checkered Walnut or other friendly materials.

Cast Aluminum Stocks for Revolvers or Automatics used to be a typical High school 'Metal Shop' thing not all that long ago...not no mo' though! Lol...

They look nice but being from AZ I think they would be hot especially during the summers here. I'll stick with ivory on my 1911.

Ivory, stag, Birdseye Maple, walnut, etc. No metal stocks for me. JMHO.

Check out some of the exotic stuff from Boone Trading.

I have alumagrips on my Nighthawk Talon II. They are comfortable and provide great purchase. "Cold" is not an issue, and they're more durable than wood. To each his own.

I have a set of the smooth black Alumagrips on my Delta Elite. They're comfortable, and the smooth pattern is nice in a carry gun.
