What a Find!!!!!!!!!

I picked up this 1951 Commander(LW) at the local gunshow today. Came with original box and paper work. It looks new execpt for the small blemish shown in picture. Any and all input would be helpful, I know it's mute point but what would the value be?

I found one last year without the pitting, with box and paperwork for $1200
It was very close to yours by serial and I have turned down $1500 for it. To some collectors, the
pitting on the slide would make a lot of difference. In my area, I call it a $800-$1000 Colt.

We are in total agreemwnt there, me I want a .38 Super but would be hard pressed to pass on a 9mm or .45. Easily a 1000 bucks, especially with box a paperwork.
