    Colt/Behlert 38 Super Racegun

Colt 1911 Government Model 38 Super by Austin Behlert. 1989 frame, Oakshore Electronic Ultra Dot 30mm, pivot/swinging trigger, stainless steel, comp barrel.
Need information how to disassemble it since it does not have a barrel bushing to remove first.
Also any information about this. Estimated value?
    I appreciate any input.
    Thanks

Do you just want to field strip it to clean or do a thorough disassembly ?

There is no need to remove the Barrel Bushing ( and Spring, and Spring Reatiner ) when field stripping a 1911 or Gov't Model anyway...

Having removed the Magazine, and, retracting the Slide and inspected the Chamber through the ejection port for being empty, simply retract the Slide to be in the correct position, and, keeping a firm hold of things, remove the Slide Release Barrel-Link-Reataining-Pin, and, then gently let the Slide off the Frame with the Spring and Spring Retainer remaining in it.

Probably the same would apply to this one.

Just disassemble to clean. I like to clean the barrel from the breech and lube the rails. Don't you have to relieve the spring tension before removing the barrel link pin? Is the hole in the guide rod to facilitate in removal? I am not familiar with 1911s without the barrel bushing.
    Thanks.

as i was reading down i knew that this pistol had a full length guide rod even before i got to your second post.
yes the hole in the guide rod is to insert a tool, allen wrench, small screwdriver shaft, whatever, to unscrew the guide rod and take everything apart.
so i answered your question, and i'm curious. do you want to say how much you paid for it?
