    Hey, Seaburry, no apologies necessary. I still have my first M1911. Bought it in 1991. Taught my now-grown kids kids to shoot with it & now it's my concealed carry weapon.

    Very nice 1911, it looks like my first that I bought used in the late 70's. I loved the beautiful blue finish. I wish that i had taken pics of mine.
