I feel the same way when i go shooting. i always take my 1903..it is just a fun gun to shoot..it hits where i point it..ive shot hundreds of rounds through it with never a jam..mine too will shoot any and all ammo...Great guns..
Bought a new to me 9MM so I needed to try it out and of course packed along my 1903, what a great shooting pistol. Three people came over to check it out, funny how it always garners so much attention whenever I take it. Sure is a nice feeling gun and runs smooth, never even cares what ammo is in it, wish more guns were like that! My Astra 75L also got some attention and was just as pleasant to shoot. Funny how I own several guns and I seldon take my newest model, just like the feel & looks of the aged stuff I guess. And if anyone is looking for a 1903 (32) I ran across one at the local gun store the other day, serial # 499XXX type ?, VERY nice w/ original box, still had the fire blued safety, trigger etc... Didn't look like it has been shot much, just too rich for me as they had it priced @ 1200 bones! Anyone interested, email me & I will get you the shop, who knows maybe they need to make a sale?
Take care, love the forum!
