Approx DOB Combat Commander

This is my latest Colt purchase. It has been handled, but not fired. It is a Combat Commander 70 series chambered in 38 Super. I have looked around and haven't found any reference data for the date of manufacture. I haven't tried to contact Colt yet either. I don't need to know the exact date, just a ballpark idea. SN is 70BS33842. Thanks for the information and I can't wait to get to the range. Dave
