Oye, do you have a link please sir?
Might be original Blue vestigually on the Frame, but, the Slide looks like someone went over it ( and some of the frame ) a few times with some fine Abrasive Paper...and, looks like something had blurred the Slide Texts a little in addition to that, maybe being lightly rusted and scrubbed down a few times in years past? Or?...or, might be a re-Blue, or whats left of it, too.
Cut for a Shoulder Stock...
Low Serial Number...
Cracked at the Nose on the left side...
Home-Made Stocks, and, no Magazine...
Interesting! And a rare item, to be sure...especially with that shoulder Stock cut.
I am not into restoration projects, but, if I was, I'd be thinking hard about this one.

For what it is worth it, according to Goddard's book it shipped 10 Feb 1906, special features (Ex.S&H Comb.) to Van Camp Hardware & Implement Company. Van camp was based in Indianapolis. Interesting gun but withe required repair, replacement grips and no finish, a little high in my book.
Way too high a price for a restoration project. I have bought and restored several dogs, one with the same crack both sides at the slide lock. After buying the thing it will take a minimum of 20 hours work to ready it for Turnbulls. Then Turnbull $500 to have the letterings and blue. Then there's grips and a mag, another $100. When you are done you are stuck with something looking about like this:
