I have a Marvel sear jig and have used it on occasion on some of my 1911's. The thing that is missing in my knowledge base is the hammer side of the equation. As I look at the half cock and full cock notches, I wonder what can\ or should be done there. I've done searches here and other places, plus I have looked through my library to get information on the subject, but I decided to ask here for links or direct responses to my question. Where, if anywhere do I need to stone on the hammer to help clean up a trigger? I can usually stone a sear to take a 7.5 pound trigger to 5 pounds (and beyond) with just my jig and stones.
Thanks in advance to whomever.
