The tenon on the Meprolight front sight I wish to install on my Colt Combat commander is .125 inch square. Needless to say, the mortise in the slide is somewhat smaller. I am looking for someone who can enlarge the mortise in the slide and properly install the front sight. Can anyone recommend where I might send my slide and sight to have this done. As I have made up my mind this is the method to be used to install the front sight please limit your responses to recommendations of where I might have this accomplished. Thank you.

The application of the proper amount of high explosives can solve any problem.

Colt would likely be faster and competitive in price to anyone else I'd care to trust.
Plus, they're already set up to machine the larger tenon hole.
