Buy the Kunhausen book as damn few really know how to tune or repair a SAA CORRECTLY these days. Most are merely parts exchangers. I've seen superb 1911 & DA revolver 'smiths FUBAR SA's by the bushel basket. It's a primitive system where removing from one place you have to replace in another. It's all about "balance" internally IMO. The art of stoning a sear or dressing down a leg of the bolt or shaping a cam cannot be learned entirely from a book IMO. It takes YEARS to know how to do this properly IMO. Feel is everything.
