1903 pocket hammerless not feeding

My 1903 will occasionally not feed and I've noticed that if I press up on the bottom of the magazine and hold it
that it will work properly. There is some up and down movement in the magazine, is this usually caused by a worn latch or is it caused by the magazine? I have a couple of Colt magazines and a knock off or two and they all do it. Any help or advise is appreciated.

I do not have mine handy to refer to but...might be the Magazine Catch is damaged or gummed up or has some debris preventing it from full range of motion, and is not keeping the Magazine up in all the way.

Possibly others here will know or recall how that part attaches, to know how to dis-assemble it and inspect it for this sort of trouble.

You could remove the Stocks and get a better view of the usually unseen area of the Magazine Catch, and inspect it that way for how maybe something is preventing it from having it's full upward movement-poisition.

Aftermarket Magazines are famous for malfuntion issues, but, if you have 'period' COLT Magazines doing the same thing, I am thinking it may be the Magazine Catch then.
