Python Elliason Rear Sight

Hey folks. I just acquired a new Elliason front sight for my 4" Python. Can I use the existing Accro rear sight? There are differences in the height, looks to me. If I can't use tha Accro, that's ok, I'll get a rear Elliason. What pin punch can I use? Saw a thread here, but can't get it to come up on my screen. Thanks.

The Ellison rear sight and Patridge front sight were usually fitted as a set by Colt.

Using the Patridge Target front with the Accro rear may require lowering the rear sight more than is possible.
I'd suggest just trying it and see what you have.
If you can't get the Accro rear low enough, you'd need an Ellison rear.

dfariswheel, thanks. Normally, I have seen the Elliasons on 6" Pythons, but I'll give it a try with the Accro and go from there, as you suggested.
