need new rear sight for my Defender

As you can see from my picture, there is a Heinie straight eight rear sight on my Defenter. Due to the rear of the slide being milled out for thise sight, is there
a Novak type low mount night sight that would fit in its place? Gun shoots great, but that rear sight is giving me fits, just cant line it up quickly enough to suit
me. The dot is too small for my old eyes. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks guys.

I have really old eyes also.. My favorite sights are like the ones on a Talo New agent. One line on the back of a V-Notch, and a big dot night sight on the front. Very quick acquisition, just make the sight picture look like a lollypop. :-)

Elliof, I could go for that dot the "i" sight as I have a Big Dot on the front.
