How does that tiny roll pin come out for the rear sight of my New Frontier45 colt???

I would like to take off the rear adjustable sight and theres a tiny pin I need to punch out. I have an .045" diameter pinpunch but it doesnt seem to budge it? I tried unscrewing the elevation screw and now one of the tiny check balls came out!! help!!!

Here is a little info from the Kuhnhausen manual which everyone should have.

But I cant get to that other pin since the rear sight is still in the frame recess . I need to get out the other smaller roll pin in the front part of the rear sight.

Also a 1/16". A smaller or pointy punch will tend to flare the roll pin. Perhaps it needs a little penetrating oil like Kroil. Rear sight removal on Colt Python
