Blue or Nickel?
I am acquiring the above in a trade. The gun has some handling marks, but appears to be in good shape. No gouges, dents or dings to speak of. I know this is relative to what dollar amount I have in this, but is it worth it to send to Colt to refinish it. Any idea on what a pristine gun like this would be worth? 2 cylinders, Faux bone stocks.
Any information, and or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Blue or Nickel?
Not worth a refinish, IMHO. The FS really isn't a high end COLT and collector value is typically NIB though there are instances of some beaters going for 4 Benjamins.

Dollar-wise a refinish just isn't worth it based on the value of these guns.
The very early Scout had an aluminum frame, the models made from the early 1960's to the 1970's had Zamac cast zinc frames.
Colt very probably won't attempt to refinish either of these because of the risk of breaking the frame when the steel barrel is removed for refinishing.
You can contact Colt for more details, but even if they would take the gun for a refinish, the price would be far more then the gun is worth.
