The stock pin is at least the same for all E/I frames. Other models do have different part numbers, but I have not compared the actual pins.![]()
I bought a used Python in excellent condition but later found out that one side of the grip alignment pin has been ground down. I need a new pin as this can be easily replaced IMO since it is driftable. Is this pin indigenous to the Python? I'm guessing no.

I can't remember about the pre-war models, but all Colt post-war medium frame revolvers used the same frame pin.
