Colt 1873 SAA bolt

Hi

Anyone know the proper preceedure for fitting a replacement bolt in a 1st generation SAA? Tried to replace one but when trying to cock the hammer, the cylinder is locked up and won't move. What needs to be filed to make the new bolt work properly?

I wouldn't have got here w/out your help,my "evil machine" still won't send or forward emails & this is the only site I can go on because all the rest of my contacts r still in the old machine,Greg will probably start working on restoring all the info from the old machine sometime next week .
