honest wear and lack of finish is fine but timing and lock up a must , will be everyday carry piece. prefer the smaller round butt grip size but will work with anything.

I'm interested in purchasing a Colt SAA, in .45 caliber with a 4 3/4" barrel, I'm looking for an original condition 1st gen or an early 2nd gen. I would prefer a 1st gen that was manufactured from around 1900 and newer. If available I would prefer a 2nd gen with a numbered original box, but I would gladly accept one without the box.

As to condition I'm trying to find one that has some original finish, both bluing and casehardening, no pitting or damage. I can't afford a 90% 1st gen but I can afford a 100% 2nd gen.

If you have anything for sale that might meet my needs or know where I can find one I would appreciate it if you would contact me via pm or email.

As a last resort I might consider a 44-40 or a .41 if they are in very good condition, thanks for your help.

I want a decent set of properly fitting grips for every day use so I can save my elephant ivory grips for display purpose


The only grips I have located thus far are Herretts Colt D Frame Diamondback Detective Special Cobra Grips shown here:



They are comfortable and good looking but they are too big and unfortunately cover the rampant colt logo on the handle and they interfere with speed loaders and shell ejection.
Any help in locating properly fitting grips would be appreciated

I am looking for a Tyler T Grip size for a short framed D Frame Cobra made in 1966. I believe I need a size #5 and am wanting a black adapter in flat or shiny. Let me know if you have one you are not using and would be willing to part with.Thanks.

My friends needs some stocks for his .45LC Anaconda. He prefers wooden and aftermarket is okay, or he could use a pair of the mid production grips (MM 45xxx range).

Let me know what you have or if you have any recommendations of where to look for some.
