Brauer Brothers Holster St. Louis, MO help plese

I was at my leather guy's shop today to pick up some sheaths he made for 2 knives and I spy a black Sam Browne belt and holster hanging on a peg behaind the counter. I asked to see it and the holster was stamped Brauer Bros, St. Louis MO and the model number is H32-R6. My friend says he thinks he carried a Ruger target something in it 50 years ago but he can't recall. It is a flat pattern (no pattern) design in black and looks to accomodate a 6 inch barrel. I did not take a picture, I do apologize. The leather is in excellent condition, still maintains it's stiffness and the brass snap is also excellent. What gun would this holster fit (question #1) and considering it's age of let's assume over 50 years, it's value (question #2). I bow to the leather experts and appreciate your time.

The holster was made for a Ruger Standard .22 auto with a 6" barrel. The Brauer Brothers holsters don't generally sell for too much & black holsters usually sell for less than tan or brown ones. It would probably bring $20-30 from a Ruger Standard owner. Regards, turnerriver
