    Colt SAA and Carrico Leather

I don't know how many of you folks are interested in western gunleather
but I thought I'd throw this out and see if anyone else would join in.
I took this photo today, so ignore the date on the picture. I don't know
how to get rid of it.
This is a gunbelt done by David Carrico from Kansas. I believe he
calls the belt a "Scout" belt.
    Lets see some of yours.

I think you'll find a good number of folks like western leather here. Nice rig, I like the rivets, conchos, and those longer rifle rounds inserted in the loops in the back look good.
The black set below is a double rig by Fitzpatrick, and the other is unknown manufacturer but good quality and awaiting abit of spruce up still.

That is an excellent lefty holster, Mesquito, with classic lines. I made this "Brill" style rig for my 4 3/4" Colts.

    And these slim jims...

A slim jim for the Gren conversion I no longer own..

    A black "Brill"...

And a mexican loop holster I made twenty five years ago and looks pretty old now which i like...

Is Carrico still making these? I have 2 holsters made by him which I picked up at two different shows mabey 10-15 years ago. They're not fancy like yours, but I really like them and wouldnt mind having a belt or two, or a couple of more holsters.

Wyatt Burp: I always like seeing the holster work you've done. Always wished I had a creative talent like yours. Unfortunately all creativity in my family skipped a generation...mine. Guess I'll just have to keep buying or horse-trading for my leather.

Thank you but don't worry about it. My skipped generation lack of abilities are pretty much stuff like working on cars, plumbing, or trying to understand computers. But since we're on the subject...
...my first attempt at a cheyenne plugged holster. This one with spade billets on the belt.

A lined fast draw rig. I made this one with a slot cut behind the buckle so the tongue can go through it like the old money belt style. I never seen it on a buscadero rig before and it works great.

A mini Ojala I made for my son when he was around five or six in the late 80's.

I made this single thickness lightweight rig to ride like Jack Palance's gunrig in Shane with guns well forward. It is extremely comfortable.

And my B-western rig that needs new bullet loops because a parakeet ate them off. He no longer resided here right after that.

    Mr. Chaffee;
I don't know if he is or not. I bought this at least 2 years ago.
Wyatt, you make some beautiful stuff.

    More holsters

Here's some more. The one with the Ruger P-95 is from Mernickle.
Very comfortable. The other two are from Red Dog Leather. They
are outstanding holsters and belts. I think they are equal to the
higher dollar rigs, both in comfort, and in craftsmanship.
