I like them both! But I like the Reyes more.

Here is a couple of Mexico made holsters I have picked up lately one is a Reyes that fits my 1959 commander perfectly and the other is unmarked but a perfect fit for my Detective Special. I think they make a good set

Enjoy the ride - no-one gets out alive!
Thanks guys I only have $34.00 in both of these holsters and I like them as well as my Heisers and Lawrence holsters Better for the price I had to pay
The Mexican's in my eyes ARE the best leather workers. Beautiful holsters.
Here is some more Mexican leather, I just received today.

One of my favorite CCW holsters is a floral carved in the style of an Askins Avenger. The only marking is "Mexico" and "45". Fits my Kimber Pro Carry II perfectly.

These 3 Mexican made holsters are stamped "MYRES MADE IN MEXICO" They were made for Dale Myres, S. D. Myres' son. Dale's brother & cousin were running the S.D. Myres Co. & Dale went south of the border to manufacture & market a line of leather goods that didn't compete head to head with his family's business. He was in business as the Dale Myres Co. for about 6 years in the 1950's & early '60's.Regards, turnerriver
Good stuff...here's a Browning factory holster marked "Mexico" for a Browning Hi Power. It's a lefty too.

Huh???
Do you have the book, "Packing Iron - Gun Leather Of The Frontier West"? I think if you read that you'll have a different view. Just my opinion of course. However, the fact is.................
............... some of the finest holsters anywhere have been made right here in North America over the last 200 years, and most of those in the USA.
