Are these collectible? They sure look interesting but are they worth up to $1500.00? JB

    Hi,

I'd say that $1,500 is a lot of money for a Spanish clone. I have two first generation Colt SAAs that cost less than $2,000. One was $1,700 on Gun Broker, and it has a shiney bore, sharp action, clean metal and good markings with about 20% finish. The other was $1,900 on Guns America and has about 50-60% finish (It has an after market rear blade sight installed, but it doesn't detract from the look of the gun.)

Take your time and buy a decent first generation SAA or buy a current model. That's better than buying a clone any day.

    Regards,

    Tim

I agree, for that money my single action would have to have the Rampant Pony.
    From my cold dead hands.
    If it ain't a Colt it's a copy.
