Has anyone used the auction site ; Lock Stock-and-Barrel , recommend?

It appears to be a sponsor advertiser on this forum, and starts out as (penny bid) then progresses into $5.00 increments from what little I saw.

Has anyone hear had experience -good -bad-so,so , like a Gun-broker? The site, Gun Broker.......legit?

Thanks for your insights, thoughts and/or experiences using -if you have.

I have bought from LS&B on GunAuction.com and was vey pleased. Their item presentation is among the best on the web in my opinion.

Usually their descriptions are very good. Occasionally they screw up, like everyone else, I suppose. They are certainly a legit seller though.

They are one in the same as the Gun Store of Same Name in Simi Valley, California..One of their chief people is a gentleman known as "Lead Dispencer" or aka Spencer Hogland..Former renown World Champion in the SASS Cowboy Action Shooting and 3-Gun World. He holds numerous speed records for shooting lever action rifle and single action revolvers. Spencer is a stand up guy.

I bought a gun from them in an auction on the gunauction.com site and they were great to work with. It was a very easy transaction. Gun was just as described.

I haven't bought any firearms from them yet, but have bought some ammo on GunAuction and various items on eBay, and I also follow them. My experience like others is positive. Their listing descriptions seem to be fair and honest, which is always a plus.
I would not hesitate to buy from them.

Bought a revolver from them several years ago off of the Gunauction site. Transaction went very well. Along with Jack the Dog, one of the sellers that is keeping Gunauction alive. He tries to be very detailed in his description and shows many pictures.

I purchased two Merwin Hulbert revolvers from them last year, both revolvers were not as described and both were in not working order as described. Having said that i contacted them and had my money back in ten days, i did speak to Spencer and he did take good care of me. I was just taken back as to how the two revolvers were shipped in the way they were to me without being checked out first. I would buy from them again because mistakes do happen.
