    When I was a company officer in the National Guard I told the troops, Uncle Sam's firearms work just fine, no need to bring your own. Also if something happens to you-your heirloom is GONE.

    What time I was in an operational unit, I carried a BAR. Didn't think I needed a back up, just more magazines.

    Yes. A S&W Model 39-2 and a Walther PPK/S. Once in a great while a S&W 41 magnum.

    Yep, in the early RVN days (64-65) it was M14 and 1911A1 for me. The good ol' days. Always figured bigger holes were better holes!

    Well, if you make sure it's a 5.56, 9mm, 12ga or (wink) 7.62 NATO, you're good to go Colonel! Plenty of 7.62x39 out there too.

    Here, we just had to get a picture of the Yugo Krinkov complete with 40 rounder.
