I thought it would be fun to see what Santa put under the tree this year.
Getting or giving, if it shoots, snap a picture and share your new iron.

(Shirts and Socks don't count)
I don't know yet...I'm the only one up and I haven't peeked yet...

I consider the following additions to myarmorycollection to be Christmas Presents, primarily because most were bought this month:
Olympics Arms OA93 AR Pistol .223/5.56
Colt Trooper .357 from 1964
Colt Lawman MkIII 2" .357

S&W Model 36, blued, .38 Special
There were a few more that I wanted to buy but didn't - I think had I bought more I'd be pushing the limits of my wife's generousity!
Marlin 336 Cowboy in .38-55, Redding Dies in .38-55, 3 Wilson Case Gauges in .38 Super, (So I will have to exchange two of them...LOL)
50 Starline Brass in .38-55, 100 Montana Bullet Works .38-55 in 264 Gr. Gas Check, $100.00 Gift Card to Starbucks, 2 boxes of Dillon Walnut Media, 3 Dozen Homemade Peanut Butter Cookies, 4 Colt Magazines for my 01918, 32 GB Card for the Camera, a Couple of Throw Blankets for those chilly nights watching Westerns, Thermal Underwear for those mornings out with the Coyotes.
I'm Spoiled and it was a Great Christmas....![]()

Got a Bright Stainless Colt .38 Super. This is the newest Colt I own (I tend to buy older Colts) and I am generally impressed with the overall quality. Colt seems to be on the right track these days. Good looking pistol. Not a big stainless fan but will get used to this one I guess.
Hope all the great forum members have a great Holiday Season.
I got this lump of coal in my stocking this morning.
US Revolver Top Break.jpg
This is a US Revolver Automatic Hammer top break in .38S&W that was made in 1912. US Revolver was a subset of Iver Johnson production that used their old technology (before Hammer-the-Hammer). The LGS had it for sale as a "parts gun". I asked them what was wrong with it, and they said that the cylinder didn't stay locked when the trigger was forward. Actually, that's how the lockwork is supposed to work. The gun works fine.
So, I paid them their $40 asking price and brought it home.
