I have sinned with a snubbie.

    My colt friends:
I swore I would stick strictly with Colts but today I sinned and while visiting a local pawn, seeking a new Colt snubbie for my stable (none to be had ) I came accross a S&W 38s&w hammerless model 3 snubbie and at a hundred and change I could not resist.I felt I had to confess my sin and also ask some of you who I noticed while researching had also added the like to their collections ( Hello Twaits) so I ask forgiveness and perhaps some information on what I have here. I think it is possibly missing a trigger guard and spring ? It functions great and locks real tight. Any help and forgivness would be appreciated. I know I have been gone for quite a while as I have relocated from Georgia to Virgnia beach Va and have finally returned to the sight.

That will be 12 "Our Fathers", 12 "Hail Marys" and 8 "Colts".

Well...it's DA only so...who needs a Trigger Guard?

Probably not a Factory Snubby...but, a nice-enough cut-down which was somebody's Baby way back when!

We will be looking forward to the Range Report!

I love it. And I just might have a triggerguard for you. Maybe even the return spring. I will look in my stuff at home this week.
I believe that is a first model 38 "lemonsqueezer"
Whats the serial number? I will look it up.

    Twaits:
thank you so much for the offer and I would gladly pay for your offering and avail you of my store of parts for any of your future needs . The serial # is 46195 ,my questions for you are, where can I find assembly and disassembly instructions for installing the trigger spring and trigger guard ? is it a complex install and after looking at the pictures would you advise using Flex paste to clean it up ?
    Thanks again Larry

As it is, it kinda has a sort of 'VeloDog' look to it...

( Too, I'd stay with Black Powder Shells on this one, if it was up to me...)
