How'bout the current selections of the Mare's Leg? Not like the "original", but some eye appeal. Far from practical though.
There is a certain category of firearms that both twaits and I refer to as "coffee table guns".
These are firearms that kind of look good but are basically useless and serve no real purpose, not even recreational shooting. Their highest and best use is to simply lay around casually on your coffee table, looking cool, (and also kind of humorous -at least around fellow gun nuts!) Hence "coffee table" guns.
To me, prime examples would be the TEC-9 and any of the closed bolt semi-auto MAC-10 pistol variants. From my point of view, most semiautomatic so-called "assault pistols" are in the "coffee table" category. Of course this category is not limited to assault pistols. Crazy gigantic brass framed 45-70 single action revolvers come to mind. Any guns that you feel fit the above criteria in your mind are fair game, especially if you have indulged in them for your coffee table!
So, let's hear about and see any "coffee table guns" that you either have now, have had in the past, or have in mind for future home decor!

I've always wanted a MAC-10 for the coffee table while watching Miami Vice.
Guy at a gun show in Odessa last summer had a revolver priced at $200. The little placard read "Colt Something" it had no markings, no stocks and looked like it was hooked up behind a pickup and drug from one end of Texas to the other. The hammer was frozen in place and the trigger was bent at a 10 degree angle from the trigger guard. I couldn't help but marvel that it was up for sale. I reckon that's as worthless and speculative "coffee table gun" as I've ever seen because nobody I know could identify what it was at one time. Dunno if this applies to what you are wanting. Should have snapped a picture, huh?

I'm not into pieces like the MAC-10, my friend has one and I've shot it. Maybe if the coffee table is the place for illogical guns that's a good candidate.. OTOH I think it's a good idea to have SOME KIND of gun on the coffee table, kitchen table, bureau, bathroom, etc.
Hmmm...no 'Coffee Table Guns' here...
But the description does remind me of some of my Exes...who, while good for laying around, and, darned good for a few very limited other things, were in fact totally useless or worse for all the rest of Life's possibilities.
Tons of pictures in storage, but none handy...
Lol...
Question: If one has no coffee table, but has a kitchen table, can they have a kitchen table gun?
My coffee table is one of the few places in my home that a stranger might guess that I am interested in Colts. I sometimes have Colt related books that I might be going thorugh on the table, but almost always have my Butler reproduction of the Colt Thuer deringer (in lucite) on the table. Not many of those paper weights were made by Butler before they went out of business.
I have one of those "impractical" Henry H001ML Mare's Leg guns. Not useless at all and sort of fun for a 22.
That British Bulldog Twaits just got! LOL Here's a few that I had and/or have. 1st Belgium Texas Ranger .38 Special D/A
My Grandmothers top break H&R
Old black powder
Hubley Det. Spec.
Colt Thunderer .41
Just a few - there seems to always be something on my desk.

There's nothing like a double barrel 20-shot revolver to stir some conversation around the coffee table
