I just got back my 2 1/2" Python from Colt and must say that once again Colt did an excellent job and only three months of anxious waiting. I had sent in other Pythons last year before their prices increased for bluing and nickel. The Royal Bluing and Nickel come out excellent. I have no desire to search any further for Nickel and Royal Bluing other than having them done by Colt. My only regret, and I highly recommend, that you spend an additional fee to have the roll marks redone. Especially the nickel, but also the bluing would show much better with new roll marks.

hey i did not Colt did renickel or refinishing..was told they no longer do that...will be calling Colt after the new year...thanks for info..would love to see some pics too

fords in florida does excellant work. they can also help with rollmark work. last time i talked to them turnaround time was about 3 months. 352 564 0001

YES, COLT for Colt Guns....Fords for everything else. (Only because Colt doesn't want to do S&W).

Now if you want Antique Nickel, try Turnbull's.
