    The Colt Affliction 2011 Tally

This is by no means to be construed as thumping my chest nor bragging rights, only the damage caused by my Colt affliction in 2011.

    Warning: Picture Impaired

    1912 PP 4" .38S&W Blued (project revolver)
1924 NS 4" .45 LC Blued (professionally modified prior to my ownership)
    1929 PPS 4" .38 Spcl Blued
    1930 PP 4" .38 S&W Blued
    1966 Python 4" .357 Blued
    1967 OP 4" 38 Spcl Blued
    1968 Frontier Scout 4 3/4" .22 Nickel NIB
    1968 Trooper 4" .357 Blued (refinished)
    1968 Trooper 4" .357 Blued
    1978 Python 4" .357 Nickel

    In Transit: 1976 DS 2" .38 Nickel

    1976 Colt DS4.jpg1976 DS.jpg

But by far the best acquistion was becoming a forum member, making new friends and learning a helluvalot from some classy folks.

My hat is in my hand, eyes lowered..........and a big ass smile on my face. Happy New Year

Your list makes me think I need to get moving or I will loose the race. Actually, I have been buying primarily rifles and handguns to shoot this year rather than collect. The majority have been in 22 LR.

My one and only Colt was a Detective Special.

HA!! At least I'm not the only one!! If I made a list, I might scare myself. Just think, thats just the firearms. How about the all the extras you bought to go with the Colt Theme!! I'd make a list, but I'd scare myself. I can't wait to see BigRixs' list

Some highly desirable collectibles. I would be interested in seeing a pic of the 45 NS.

Being new to Colt revolvers I find your statement about the Forum and folks who are friendly and VERY knowledgable.

Happy New Year to you and to everyone on the Forum!

Well Spur I can clearly see the problem. I can give you a Detailed explanation if you wish, but from bar room experience it appears you either ran out of Quality Selected Material or Funds. I suggest you stop collecting the Confederate Dollars and get some negotiable currency.

Looks like you had yourself a pretty good time this last year. I sure like that big ol New Service. Here's wishing you a safe and even better 2012.

I bought 667 used guns in 2011, are dealers banned from this thread?

    Nice going MtnSpur!

Post some pics of the little nineteen-and-twelve Police Positive too!

Afterall, it's about to be a Birthday Boy!

It was a good Colt Year for me too...enough to clutter a small Table anyway.

Happy Hunting to all for 2012!
