Many years back a friend had one for sale in his shop. It was not the 45-70 but one of the European rifle calibers, 9x57 mm if I remember correct. I got to try it once and it was really pretty decent. The finish and quality seemed good. But even back then the price was waaayyy out of my comfort zone. I've never had problems with any of the Pedersoli guns I've owned and my Pedersoli Sharps shoot about as well as my more expensive Shiloh.

Just checked in on this and with three hours to go it stands at $2700 and STILL under reserve.

Personally, I'd take the $2700 and call it a good day.

I REALLY wish they would do away with reserves...just start it at the lowest you'd take for it!

I'm with you. What's the point of a reserve price anyway? Drama?

A guys been dragging a pretty nice one of these around the gun shows up here for over two years now. It's priced considerably lower and is not getting any bites in the land of the Kodiak....
