Anyone know anything about high Standard Supermatic Tounament pistols?

A guy brought two of them into the shop because nothing would happen when you pulled the trigger. I took the grips and the sideplate off and sprayed degreaser in there and relubricated. The trigger will now drop the hammer but the trigger return is still really weak. Doesn't seem to work 100% like it should.
I have zero experience with these guns though. Hoping someone here knows something about them.
They seem like really nice pistols.

The model is "High Standard Supermatic Tournament" and it says "Model 107 Military" The serial numbers are 2137542 and 2178773 if it matters.

It's an easy take down for cleaning. I have the Supermatic Military Citation 107 and absolutely love it! Don't run high velocity ammo through the pistol though. Use standard velocity.
Manual is here: (I had to load the page twice for it to come up).

    Hope it helps!

Thanks Jay, I have that page in my favorites and have already downloaded the manual. The gun works much better than it did when it was first brought in (which was not at all)
but the trigger return is still a bit sluggish on both. I wonder if I should recommend spring replacement? I have no .22LR ammo here at work to try the guns but I think that they might work fine when firing with live ammo.
I will pass it on to the guy to stick with standard velocity ammo though.

Triggers are very short throw and light on most of these guns. I presume it has a screw in the trigger face to adjust travel and that it is correctly adjusted. They do feel a little different in my opinion. Really needs to be function tested at this point.

Yes they both have an overtravel adjustment screw which I haven't touched. Maybe they should be readjusted?

Edit: Both guns seem to be working better now. Probably with the degreaser gun solvent and relubrication they are starting to work more normally. Both of them seem to be getting better as they sit.
The triggers both seem to be returning fine now.

    Thanks all for your input.

Here's a crappy cell phone picture of the guns

They aren't too fancy just an allen screw, and if you keep track of changes you can always return to where it is at quite easily. I would try adjusting for a little more travel and shoot it then adjust for best crisp feel.

Don't dry fire it without a snap cap, or spent case. Beautiful pieces.

Everything you always wanted to know about Hi-Standard, but were afraid to ask: Mauser Central • View topic - High Standard Pistol Basics

The best 22 pistols ever, imho. If you can still get hold of Bob Ski, he's the man you should talk to.
