    Las Vegas area collector shops?

I have a few hours to burn this weekend in Vegas and feel there may be a few interesting places to go and see gun collectables... Any recomendations? Museums? Thanks!

Ohhhhhhhh...wish I could think of some to recommend.

"Bargain Pawn" in North Las Vegas ( you can 'google' them and get a location...very easy to get to, on Las Vegas Blvd North close to Jerry's Nugget ) is a good place, nice people, reasonable prices, always a few old Guns on hand. Their gun guy is Glen...and he is good people.

There probably are other places worth visiting but I do not know of them.

Ten or fifteen or twenty years ago, I could have provided a nice list of half a dozen places, but, times change, and I have not kept my finger on the Pulse ( and or I could not find a Pulse anymore so I sort of stopped trying, Lol...)

You can try and go by The Gun Store on E. Tropicana. In the Old Days...prior to 2005, there use to be some good toys float through there. Now days, I don't know. I still have friends that work there, but the Store I don't talk about. While you are there Shoot a Machine Gun !

Bunny's something...they have 36's, 38's, 44's....oh wait that's a different business. The Las Vegas members should chime in shortly.

Off subject a little but I'll ask anyway. On "Pawn stars" Rick said he could only buy/take in pawn, pre 1899 (i.e. antique) guns. This must not be Nevada state law, if there are guns for sale at "Bargain pawn". Is it a city thing? (is North Las Vegas a differnt city?) Or does Rick just not want to deal with all the paperwork?

Bargain Pawn is about the Only Pawn Store that will sell guns FTF. Most have gone to the internet, because of Las Vegas Paperwork hassle. AND it's only in Las Vegas ! The Sgt. who heads up the Firearm detail is not as well liked by some of the populace and I suspect by members of his own department...LOL ... He likes to make up new firearm laws as he goes along...despite federal law...LOL

There was a girl named 'Bunny' ( if memory serve ) but it was more like 36-23-34, who was associated with the old 'Survival Store' back in the 1980s...she had some really gorgeous girlfriends back then too...went on a couple outings with them, lots of fun. They were all into Machine Guns and all sorts of stuff, and, I was ONLY into Bullseye Shooting Slow-Fire with only really old Service Sight Revolvers and Autos, so, there was something of a disjunction, but, no one cared...fun people, fun times.

I lost track of whether the Survival Store is still around or not...

Used to be a lot of neat Gun Stores back then which routinely had lots of old Guns, and which were nice people and easy going.
