I have a collection of 5 Rolex watches and am nowhere near owning a Python.I have my Peacekeeper 4 in 357 mag I affectionately call this "Poor Man's Python".

I'd be curious how many Colt guys are also Rolex guys. I believe there are a lot of similarities in the two that have nothing to do with showiness or flash.

Both are cultural icons, craftsmanship, historical significance, etc.

Have a Python. Have a watch, a $12.00 Casio jogwatch from Walmart. That's how I can afford a Python.

I prefer my Omega Speedmaster to anything from Rolex, and my Trooper MkIII to any Python. (The vent rib on the Python may look cool, but, it presents more surface area to keep dry and clean and is, in my opinion, not as utilitarian as the Trooper MkIII.)

Strange, Ive never noted any correlation between guns and watches before. But in looking at it I see that I have switched from my old full size 1911s to my classic Cobra and gone from my reliable Tag Heuer chronograph to a Sako titanium light weight
And I still can't afford a Rolex.

I'm Still carrying a Revolver 95% of the time, and 50% of the time it's a SAA, and a Pocket Watch on a chain. Funny thing, I rarely care what time it is.
