    Not a Colt, but questions

Have an opportunity to acquire a Detonics 451M. It is a Seattle gun and in as new shape - no box, no paper. But, I find ammo and brass is scarce to impossible and VERY expensive. Yes, I now i can trim 308 family brass to work, but ... well, I guess I am lazy! Does anyone know if there is a change to 45ACP that is reasonable priced and available??? Would like to have the gun but not if ammo is $80-$100 for 20 rounds.

That model is the same as a Detonics Scoremaster .45 but with the .451 barrel. If you can find a Scoremaster .45 barrel it is a drop in fit..
