    Dual Named Colts?

Hello, everyone. Just had a thought..What other firearm manufacturer has had two entirely differen't arms with the same name?
The Colt Lightning revolver and the Lightning rifle were both being sold in the same time period!

Stevens had a few 22 rifles like that, cant remember the actual names right now but I remember having to look up the model numbers to differentiate the 2.

Colt actually had two completely different revolvers named the "New Police" model.

The Colt Rifle was marketed as the "Slide Action", and it came in three different frame sizes, Small, Medium and Large. I don't know who named it Lightening, but I don't think it was Colt.

PS Let me add, that in my Letters from Colt, Kathy Hoyt never referred to it as a Lightening, despite what the Blue Book refers to them as.
