As some of you know from an earlier post I traded for a AWA Peacekeeper 'saa clone' that was a kit gun and I sent it to AWA in Florida to assemble the gun. I was told by email that it would be a "one to two week turnaround". They recieved the gun on Dec 5th. I talked to the president of the company ********* on Dec 14th and he stated that he would put it together the next week and call me. Since then I have had no info or updates from them. I send them one email and one phone message a week, so it's not like i'm bugging the crap out of them. Now I realize we were in the holiday season and they may have been buzy. However it doesn't take a whole lot of time to give me a call or send me an email with what's going on. To say their customer service sucks is probably bragging on them. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Do I just wait till ********** get's around to letting me know what's going on? Remember he is the one that told me two weeks tops from the day they got it. They never answer the phone as it goes too voice mail. ANY SUGGESTIONS?................Thanks for letting me vent.

DuWhat:1st off the peacekeepers never came in kit form, what u bought was a dis-assembled gun,2nd I was told that u were supposed to send the gun to me & not AWA,Russell has been sick & extremely busy,I talked to him the other day about your gun & he told me that a lot of screws were boogered & there were some problems w/some of the parts,as far as their customer service goes they are on a par w/any other gun co. in the business,I'll be in touch w/Russell either tomorrow or Thurs. I'll let u know what I find out.
All i'm asking is that they let me know what's going on. If they would have let me know that some of the screws were boggered and they were having trouble with some of the parts at least I would have known they were having problems and I have would then have waited till they got back it touch with me.

The solution: BUY A COLT! (Buy a fully assembled Colt.)
I just talked to Russell & he said your gun has been ready for quite awhile & he told me he contacted you about the charges for the work & how much it was & hasn't received payment plus you didn't even put what city or state it was to be returned to,your on your own now,I've done all I can.
Well I just got a call from AWA telling me the gun was ready. News travels fast. I'll post a picture when I get it. Mr. Martin thanks for your help.
Also I never received a call from them telling me it was done or what the charges were. Oh well. Alls well that ends well.
Update when your gun arrives in good condition.
