All the big wigs are there; The General, Joyce Rubino, Custom Shop Folks, Marketing and Sales.
Do you or can you guess the number one asked question so far this year at the Show ?
"When is Colt going to return making Double Action Revolvers ?" Really No Kidding.
I am sorry I don't have a definitive answer, but I suspect they will be tired of hearing this question by the end of the week.
ALSO one should know the orders for SAA's have fallen off..With new emphasis on the Civilian Market and demand for Semi Auto's I would expect another shift in the Work force to catch up on back orders.
"Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom."

Was this a suprise?
Sounds like they are continuing to make their favorite model, the excuse. Look at the 2012 catalog, most calibers of the SAA are custom shop orders, there is no 357 New Frontier model listed, no variations of the Mustang 380, and as you stated no da revolvers. So what is the plan for the new Florida Factory?
seems it's the same unanswered questions each year...

That's what I thought initially ,but now , I'm not so sure. The longer they wait , the harder it will be.Everyone else has been on the move but them. They could have thrown Colt fans a bone and showed up with a prototype revolver , but once more nada. Maybe the 380s will move south , but I bet we will see a polymer 9mm before a da revolver.
Same stuff, different day.I really don't think they will ever make DA Revolvers again. If they were serious it would have happened.Yes there are people who know all the Colt big wigs, they say that they are being asked ad nauseum, there are"rumors" blah blah blah, but I have adopted the attitude of when I see it I will believe it.
I think CruiserRN nailed it.
