How about a section for Cowboy Action Shooting and related items / subjects?

A recent thread started by me has evolved into some very interesting content concerning Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS - both SASS and NCOWS). This brings up a thought if there would be interest in a special section that focused on this and did not just kind of float through other dedicated topics.
It would be nice to see where and when functions are scheduled, opinions on guns and accessories, places to get good buys on items, or anything related to the sport.
Colt Forum is the obvious place as there are so many shooters that have allegiance to them in the sport.
What do you think?

Kid, Not trying to sway an opinion, but that's a reason I was asking. Been on that site, and saw a lot lacking and thought we could elevate the subject on a solid based forum with honest to goodness enthusiasts. Vote your convictions. Thanks for the input.

I like your thoughtfulness..BUT there are several sites already dedicated to the sport..Some with more finesse than the SASS Site. I think we would lose some of our members. The Colt Forum being dedicated to COLT, and less than 2 % of the Colt Enthusiasts are into CAS sports.

Ahhhhhh...yeahhh, in thinking about this, I would incline to agree with Kid Sopris.

CASS is too big and too different in practice from the areas of interest which in essence define the Coltforum as such.

I suggested Shooter post this in the Lounge as he had inquired about the possibility of a sub-forum .

I voted "YES" but the more I think about it and read the other post--I've changed my mind. There are so many other sites that deal with CAS that I think it defeats our purpose---as collectors. I know so few CAS that shoot Colts anyway that it would turn into a Uberti or EMS forum. This forum is more of a Collectors Forum and should stay that way.
