Does anyone make black powder loaded .41 LC?

I'm curious as I have bought Goex 38LC. Seems like someone out there should make .41 LC. Lots of old guns out there chambered for it.

I bought a couple boxes of 50 rounds each from Buffalo Arms Co in 2011, also bought 38 Colt black powder from them to. If you search there name you should find their web page.

I need some .41 ammo in smokeless, but i can't find any I can afford. Maybe I should just try to locate a 38-40 cylinder for my SAA?

.41 Colt to 38/40-----Thats what I did on my .41 sa. It was basicaly a drop in. the biggest problem is finding a 38/40 cylinder.

I think "Gad custom cartridge" loads .41 Colt in BP or smokeless. I have a 38/40 SAA and a .41 Colt cyl. It fit and works just fine as a "drop in" but as for being practical it's not. .41 Colt is just too spendy and hard to find. The other way around .41>38/40 makes alot more sense.

Smokeless loads in 41LC almost never are accurate..I reload mine w/pyrodex. Like BP it has the "oomph" needed to expand the base of the undersized 41 LC slug. Smokeless just wont do it.
