Another Day of Gloomy Weather...

I'm stuck indoors Rain, Wind, Snow..No I don't ski and have no plans to start. I have apparently taken up another dang hobby of Sitting around waiting for a gun to arrive. it's driving me nuts waiting on this Marlin 336 Cowboy in .30-30. ( I know it's a short drive). Probably here tomorrow or Friday.

Mean while back at the ranch, My past time seems to be harassing the nice folks here and making a few typo's. I can't clean any more guns, otherwise I will be taking off next weeks dust.

The only decent Reality show on TV is the Weather Channel. I suppose I could take up 1/2 hour and shine my Cowboy boots.

New solution. trip down here. This lady is selling 4 old Marlins and I know ya love em. 3 Safety Model 1888's and a 45 Gov in 45-70 and all the patent markings are in the 1880's (I profess not to know much on Marlin markings) but they're all pretty lookin . The weather isn't much better down here as we had a ton of rain last night and windy and overcast today. I won't complain too much as we desperately needed the moisture due to the drought.

I would enjoy a gloomy weather day for a change, I've been in Scottsdale, AZ for the past 12 years; don't think it's rained more than a half dozen times that I can recall. When there was any recorded accumulation, on those occasions it was around 0.10".

Hey Kid. You're lucky that you are retired. The last three mornings I've been out at the range at 5:45 A.M. to run the annual Low Light Shooting Range. Monday morning we got out there at 05:00 to set it up. Pouring rain in the low thirties. We were out in that weather for two hours. Took me hours to really warm up. I have two more days to go. The funnest part is that I'm working nights. So I go out there after a twelve hour shift. This morning we had all the detectives go through. Boy talk about a bunch of whiners. We just told them that we had been up all night and didn't feel sorry for them.

Yes I'm complaining. Can you hear the World's Smallest Violin playing "My HEart Bleeds for You?" in the background.

Other than that how have you been?
