Yeah Doc Holiday in Tombstone had a Semi Auto Side x Side at the OK Corral and Kevin Costner in Open Range appeared to have a belt fed Single Action Army.
...after all these years? No specific movie in mind, but after watching some top box office movies of late and factoring in some TV shows we've recently seen as well, I get SO annoyed at magazines being referred to as 'clips'. Then the gun owner one-handedly flips the revolver's cylinder open to remind himself if it's loaded then slaps it shut. (Oh, that poor crane)
And I'm SO over the deal where they open a DA cylinder and spin it getting the 'clicking' sound of a SAA! And don't get me started on absolutely no seen recoil when firing a handgun. I know they're loaded with blanks but, please, at least fake a recoil!
We all have seen them shoot a semi-auto dry and we gun guys recognize the slide locked back at the last round, only to see them shooting again in the next scene with no apparent reload of magazine. Oh, and who hasn't seen a six-shooter fire 15-20 rounds with no reloading?
ARRGGGHHH!! Did I miss any?

I love it when they screw a supressor on a wheelie, and it ain't a Moisin, either . . .
And when the lab takes a gob of lead from a corpse and says, "OK, we're looking for a 38 special". . .
Or when they actually can tell the make of the gun that fired the lead.
Never Mistake Meek for being Weak........
I always got a kick out of Dirty Harry jerking the .44 mag skyward a second or two after firing.
No I love when the "cops" are going to clear a room and they all have thier fingers on the trigger and not on the frame with the pistol pointed @ the "cop" in front of them.
How about every scene with a shotgun- They always pump the shotgun before they shoot it(like it wouldnt allready have a shell i the chamber in that situation). You hear and see them pump it initailly and then 8 or 10 more times even though it wasnt shot after the first time they pumped it, they pump it again. Where's the loaded round being ejected. Or they pump the shotgun before entering the house - then after checking the house the find a secret room and yep before kicking the door in, they pump it again.
When I was a kid, Hoppy and the Lone Ranger were getting some major round counts in firefights with them there bad fellers.

Ever see the John Wayne movie The Sons of Katie Elder? At the end when Wayne has the big shoot out with the chief bad guy he fires his Colt SAA twenty-four times without reloading. I think that's an accurate count, but I have to admit I lost count.
