The Revolver which was found with Vince Foster...

Thinking about District of Columbia today, I recalled that the Revolver which was ( apparently ) found with Mr. Vince Foster's Thumb through the Trigger Guard as he lay bilaterally symetrical and supine and expired on the Park slope, was said to have been a Colt 'Army Special' made in 1913, and, which also was said to have been made up of two different Revolvers - possibly meaning, that the Serial Number on the Frame portion of the Crane Knuckle, was different than that found on the Crane itself.

Did anyone here happen to research this?

From what I recall, no reasonable person would have concluded that the Revolver itself had been the one used in the shooting, anyway. So, as far as I am concerned, it is not a morbid or tainted artefact, which would be in possibly poor taste to bring up...but, rather, I take it to be an innocent artefact which was mis-used in the situation, and which was merely planted crudely, after Mr' Fostered expirey, put there by disingenuous people, as a dramatic prop or 'suggestion' on which the desired pronouncement might then be lead, and made.

So, in my surmise, the old Colt was 'framed' one might say...

But anyway, what ever happened to the old Colt?

    Anyone know?

    Lol...

I am sure her professional experience and accrued abilites keep her far from any such accountabilities in things like this - after all, what are friends and associates and calling in favors, for?

But, regardless, it did seem an odd choice for the occasion.

If memory serve, the old Colt was not known or shown to have had any existence or history or provenance of any sort, period, let alone, connecting it to anyone associated with the event.

...so, where did it come from?

...how was it elected for it's role?

Was some sort of .38 Revolver merely needed in haste, and, some subordinate had to round up whatever he or she could pronto, even if it were their own long gone Grand Pa's from an attic Trunk, untouched for many decades? Or...

...seems curious anyway...and such an unlikely candidate for the role-assignment it ended up having.

Interesting - Vince Foster's Gun Serial Number Searched Before Death

Note how close the serial numbers are. And also how close they LOOK to each other. Poor eyes could mistake one number for the other. I think it could have been a factory mix up. I have a 1920 era '03 Pocket Hammer which has a different serial number under the slide. But it's only off by about 100.

As writtten in the second article, I do not believe you can run just a serial number on NCIC. Best I remember, the search must at least identify the make of the firearm. Most would require the make, model and caliber. Also, the name of the requesting agency and of the requesting official. To request a run on only a serial number, would have been met with "are you kidding me". However on a gun that old, a factory trace would most likely end with the receipt of the gun by the original wholesaler or individual. A factory trace would identify the requesting agency and official asking for the information. Good choice of a firearm with which to commit a crime, dead ends no matter which way the investigator may choose to turn. If one would care to speculate, I would say this particular firearm was choosen because of those charistics. Extremely luckey, or carefully thought out

Rumor has it that covert commie democrat bagman Charlie Trie was bringing bags of ilegal campaign contributions from the communist Chinese and the gun in question was used by him for protection while transporting the money. This was in exchange for Commerce Secretary (the late) Ron Brown handing over U.S. missle guidence technology to the Chinese government, under orders from Bill Clinton. The Army Special was discovered in his valise by the Secret Service during one of his many money drops at the White House. The Clintons were outraged and Hillary Clinton's then cheif of staff Maggie Williams took the gun and gave it to Hilary. The next time it surfaced was in the cold dead hands of Vince Foster. Foster's wife said that just prior to his "suicide" Foster was about to expose a secret operation where the Democrat National Commitee were grooming a young Hawaiian, formerly from Kenya, as an operative to infiltrate Chicago's political inner circle. Hillary is from Illinois and wanted to wrestle power from the powerful Daley political machine. I won't say any more about that because I believe I'm under surveilence at this very moment and...Hey! What's that noise? WAIT!! Put down the gun!! Don't Shoot!!! UGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
