BREAKING NEWS: Freedom Group Buys Para USA | The Firearm Blog
I also heard a rumor about Colt. I really hope that's not true.
It's scary to think that one "group" can control so many weapon manufacturing entities. It's like Pearl Harbor where they had all the battleships parked side by side and we all know what happened there.
"The end comes no matter what, the only thing that matters is how do you wanna go out, on your feet or on your knees?".....FBI Director James Grace from "The Kingdom"
thanks for the info,i hope its not true about colt either.
It certainly is not good for competition in the firearms market.
It's not exactly the same thing, but when Proctor Gamble bought out a dog food manufacturer called Innova, many dog owners like myself stopped buying the product. We knew from past history that P-C would change the formula based on saving money, ruining what used to be a very good quality food.
Being from North Carolina, I certainly don't like that news either. We had 3 gunshops close down in Eastern NC last month. The owner that was telling me about it was not happy. I thought ..why? more business for him. response was: No. ever notice all the burger joints are all together. thats gets you thinking about buying a burger. You're gonna buy a burger. The question is only which one ya gonna buy today. When all the burger joints sell the same (blankety-blank) burger, you aint ever gonna want a burger! You're tired of same (blankety-blank) thing!
Hope I didn't make anybody hungry. sorry.
COLT is Just That, RUMOR...Colt is a Privately held Company and not Subject to Stock Manipulation to posture the company to sell out.

1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

Thankfully Kids right. I had heard that Colt was approached, but the offer was flatly refused. This is worrisome though. Look at the issues with Marlins quality control. Remington has even taken a hit on their quality. I've seen this with other companies also. These investment groups take over and either the quaility goes down or they just drive the company into the ground and suck all the money they can out of it. It generally is not a good thing.
