Nice companions and the 1924 penny fits right in. I just got my first little Colt semi -a Mustang- I cant wait to shoot it and take it along for a walk in the woods.
As usual when I'm at home base, I took an afternoon walk. Also as usual, I took 2 companions.
As is normal, the .32 fired 9 rounds on the walk, the .25 fired 7 rounds. Targets are as found in the ditch or furrow.
Today while walking back, I picked up the penny seen at the bottom of the picture; it is a wheat cent from 1924. The .32 is from 1916, and the .25 from 1921.
All things from a different era.
It was a good walk.

ok... yank out and show us the model m. nice find on the penny
Nice walk, indeed, rayb! Little Wifey and I are like that, too. We live out in the woods and also take walks around the countryside. She's armed with her Lady Smith .38 Special or I'm packin' my Colt Officers .45 ACP. Both tuck nicely into pocket holsters. From time to time we find that unusual something from a bygone day and at times we discover something long missed in one of the township cemeteries, like a knocked-over, forgotten Civil War headstone. Great days all of them.

Thanks for sharing your walk with us.
