    1911 Shoulder Rig Revisited

Sent it back to Black Hills Leather for a couple of adjustments.

    Better fit, better retention

Vert with no rearward muzzle sweep

Great job Doc540! Good to see a shoulder rig in today's world that doesn't flag everybody you have your back to- like this one does-------

Sonny Crockett started the "jackass rig" fad, didn't he?

Nice suit! Who's your tailor?? LOL - Actually your shoulder rig looks very good. I'm a bigger guy and just can't find one that fits comfortably.

Nice rig Doc. I've never felt comfortable with a shoulder rig and the only suit I own is relegated to "funeral duty". The guest of honor at those isn't likely to be aiming anything at me

Nice rig, but the belt screams "gun belt". I would wear a good quality black leather dress belt of the same width, at least with that sportcoat & slacks.

I didn't coordinate the outfit...just put on a jacket for demo. That's actually a pair of black shorts.

Sometimes I think screaming "gunbelt" might have its advantages.

btw: It's from Aker Leather and does come in black.

This is typically when I'd use the shoulder rig: cold weather/casual dress
    (before BHL repositioned the holster)
