Holy Negligence Batman!
the deputy didn't know the gun was loaded eh?
the guy's a fool, i won't say anymore![]()
"He didn't know the gun was loaded." Here's your sign...
Any time a "accidental discharge" happens it is bad, and when someone gets hurt it makes it worse, no matter if this guy was a lawman or not. I recently got word that an "accidental discharge" happened on the deck of the USS Iwo Jima by a Marine attached to this ship. No one was hurt, except maybe this young Marine who I bet got his head handed to him. We all need to be careful when we are handling our weapons. Thanks to all on this site.
I'm sorry. If the woman/lady/whatever did NOT know how to hold the handgun she should have been excused from the class.
A Concealed Carry class is no place to be learning the basics!!!!!!! Geezzz............flunk a few of these people.
Keep Them In The TEN Ring!
Semantics Maybe, BUT I don't subscribe to the "Accidental" logic..."Negligent", yes.

looks like the "Certified" instructor/deputy screwed up on at least 3 counts -didnt check to see it was loaded-had his finger on the trigger(and pulled trigger)-didnt have the muzzled pointed in a safe direction.
And whoever was supposed to "secure"?? the gun as the sheriff said- well, they sure didnt secure anything.
I haven't had one of those since I was a teenager.
