The top one. Found in a shop in Lubbock, Texas , summer 1964, used & blue when purchased. The shiny stuff happened, unbenownst to me, while i was "vacationing" in SE Asia.

My first is an ANVIII and I am now a huge fan, this gun is one sweet shooter and is a blast too pull out at the range. This thing shoots spot on target, super accurate and feels great in the hand.

I just looked.. It will be 1 year in 2 days.. A Frank-n-Colt, MKIV Series 80 1911 that had been tuned up and it remains one of our absolute favorite range guns.. The trigger is as sweet as the Python’s..

Now here's the problem.. It has been followed by an even dozen Colt revolvers, one of which will arrive in the next few days..
I am definitely funding a minor economic recovery program all on my own.. Is there a cure?

Colt Frontier Scout '62 22/22mag convertible. Bought it at a gun show in about 1988, excellent condition in its original box. At the time "we" were both teenagers...the pistol was 19, and I was 16. The contagion began there. It has only worsened since then!!

    Ah, but there is:
1 Colt = 1st Step all the way to 12 Colts = 12th Step......then we repeat. No known cure til we croak

first colt was a satin nickel 45acp combat commander that i bought nib from a distributor for around 300 dollars when they were closing them out. i took it to a gunsmith friend who installed better sights, throated it, and did a trigger job among other things. i kept it for several years then eventually sold it.
it was the first of maybe 12-15 satin nickel commanders that i owned over the years. i still have one left, a 38super that i bought around 8-10 years ago.

First ones I purchased were when I was in RockHill SC in 93.While checking the Charlotte want adds I saw that a guy was selling some guns and to call him for specifics.I did and agreed on purchasing an brite s/s 4inch python no box and a blued delta in the box both for 800.00 and that was a lot of money.I still have the python but the delta went years ago to pay bills.
