    An early inheritance.... ***PICS***

My mother-in-law recently told me that she wanted me to have her deceased husband's guns. She presented me w/ a Winchester 190 .22 rifle & this:

It is a 3" S&W Model 36 .38 Spl w/ a Tyler T grip. It was built in '76 according to the serial # as is as close to mint as anything I own! It has been shot VERY little!

Nice little revolver. With that Tyler T it should be a real pleasure to shoot.

Nice revolver partner. That looks like it will shoot to point of aim, like your finger. Nice carry piece, congrats.

I have one. They make a lot of sense. Light and handy to carry.

A nice blessing for you. The neat thing about those 3-inch guns is that they actually hide as readily as the more popular 2-inch models.

I'm even interested in that Winchester Model 190. I bought one for $37 from White's Auto in about 1971. Wore it smooth out. Bought a second trigger assembly/trigger guard from Numrich, installed it and wore it out again. Sold it for chump change a few years back just to clear space. Now I wish I had it back.

Memories of youth. I was a big dumb kid once back in the early to mid-1970s. Don't laugh!
